I currently serve as the communications officer for St. David’s Foundation, where I lead the health grantmaker's digital content strategy.
My background in issue-based advocacy comes from my experiences working for a diverse mix of international and national nonprofits, including the Sundance Film Festival, The Texas Tribune, and AARP.
I previously served as director of communications for the Human Rights Foundation and have also worked as a PR specialist, event planner, and sponsorship consultant.
I’m a native Texan who earned my bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin, where I also edited the entertainment section of The Daily Texan, the largest college newspaper in the country. My bylines have appeared in publications like Real Simple, the Austin Chronicle, the San Antonio Current, The FADER, and Complex Magazine.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
